Cabhrú has provided independent living for the elderly of Dublin for more than fifty years.
As a Charity, Cabhrú has always been directed by a volunteer board and a small staff with some volunteer assistance.

In 2014, the award-winning Fr.Scully house was completed, providing 99 state-of-the-art self-contained apartments.
